Restaurant Business Senior Art Director Nico Heins is phenomenal at his job: Making sure that we look good. His design touch can be seen throughout our website, on individual stories and major projects. He uses every tool at his disposal--photos, videos, graphics, Infogram, artificial intelligence, random neighborhood dogs, whatever, to get the job done. He works within the limits to make this site what it is.

The result: Our digital-only publication with a modest art budget looks phenomenal, all the time. The art helps tell each story. It can connect different stories in a package or it can help tell a story as effectively as the words.

The design is present when we work on large packages, such as the tipping package, the Burger King package and our package on service fees. And it can help tell a single story, such as with the piece on DoorDash.

RB is not the publication it is today without the incredible work he does.
