As we digest the majority of our daily news online, it has become imperative to engage the reader in a way that's inviting and easy to understand. We do this by using vertical formats for our infographics, entry points that include quotes, photographs, podcasts, and even maps. There are various interactive elements that motion the reader to engage with our content to help with recirculation and a little metric known as time-on-site. Other times we've used a.i. to help depict tough topics such as drug addiction in the industry.
