Using every tool at his disposal, Nico ensures that our stories look as well as they read. Our unique story packages are inviting and tell a story themselves. They are easy to navigate and give readers a clear sense of the tone and importance of the topic.

This year, our entry features numerous selections that highlight that capability. His work on our groundbreaking Climate Crisis series was vital, helping to label the project as a series while allowing the photos to stand for themselves. Packages on labor, California's fast-food wage law, employee benefits and restaurant bankruptcies demonstrated his display capabilities. And his organizational skill was vital for major projects Top 100, Top 500 and Future 50.
