The Senior Care Acquisition Report published in 2015 is the preeminent industry report that covers the senior care acquisition market and is a complete single topic supplement to The SeniorCare Investor. First published in 1964, The SeniorCare Investor has won numerous editorial awards and its subscribers are members of an active community with access to frequent interviews, online dealmaker conferences and an award-winning blog.

The Senior Care Acquisition Report is broken down into three major parts. After an introduction, there is a 27-page section that includes proprietary charts and graphs detailing what happened from a valuation perspective in the skilled nursing facility acquisition market. This is followed by a 40-page section on the seniors housing acquisition market, which includes independent living retirement communities, assisted living communities and memory care facilities. There are 40 separate graphs on valuation trends in these markets. The final sections include specific details on all the publicly traded seniors care acquisitions and home health and hospice acquisitions.

Not only was 2014, the period reviewed, a record year for pricing in the acquisition market, which is detailed throughout the report, but it was also a record year for the number of transactions. This resulted in the Report being more than 270 pages and was the most comprehensive report on the senior care acquisition market in the country. It is relied on by investment banks, commercial banks, consultants, appraisers, brokers, lawyers as well as senior care providers to understand the trends in the acquisition market together with the detailed information on the transactions.

Because of the editor’s extensive contacts developed over 29 years and expert analysis, this newsletter has a strong and independent editorial voice providing a unique service to the sophisticated readership on topics not covered elsewhere. The renewal rate of 87% in 2015 clearly supports this newsletter’s ability to deliver on its mission.
