This website shines a spotlight on innovative lawyers and legal professionals who are changing the practice of law. Founded in 2009, the Legal Rebels franchise honors and recognizes those outside-the-box thinkers who have come up with new and more efficient ways to deliver legal services to the public. Examples of recent honorees include a group of legal professionals who created an app to help immigrants file citizenship forms more easily, a law student who created an app to help individuals litigate a wide-range of cases without a lawyer, and an activist looking to fight mass incarceration by providing bail for jailed women. The website also includes links to the Legal Rebels podcast, where innovative lawyers and legal professionals are interviewed by members of the ABA Journal staff.
