The ACAMS Today magazine is a quarterly publication for career-minded professionals in the financial crime detection and prevention fields and it is an exclusive benefit for ACAMS members. The ACAMS Today is dedicated to keeping members up-to-date on the latest anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing challenges, legislative, regulatory and international developments in financial crime prevention and practical solutions to compliance problems. As well as offering members career-guidance, highlighting member contributions, ACAMS chapter updates, CAMS graduate listings and other valuable financial crime-related sections.

In addition, the ACAMS Today contains other region specific publications such as ACAMS Today Europe, which is published in French and German, ACAMS Today Español published in Spanish and select editions translated into Traditional and Simplified Chinese.

The image in the opening spread of The Australian Experience—A Conflicting Regulatory Landscape was chosen because it displays the contrast between the beautiful background of the Australian continent and the turmoil that exists within the regulatory regime in Australia. Australia is uniquely positioned between following its self-interest or abiding by what the super powers in compliance dictate, namely, the U.S. and Europe. The topography goes well with showing the curvature of the earth within the image and gives the serious content a playful feel.
