Today’s Medical Developments is the only trade publication exclusively dedicated to the design and manufacturing processes for medical devices, implants, and equipment offering news and industry comment, in-depth technical articles, industry round-ups, and special features. Today’s Medical Developments is intended for individuals with broad-based interests in the medical manufacturing industry including medical equipment manufacturers, medical instrument manufacturers, medical implant manufacturers, prosthetic device manufacturers, contract manufacturers/job shops, and others allied to the field.

Please describe the enterprising work that went into this entry and its significance or impact on readers:

The 2019 Additive Manufacturing Target Guide is a 32-page supplement to Today's Medical Developments and its sister manufacturing publications, Aerospace Manufacturing and Design and Today's Motor Vehicles. It is a look at design, manufacture, materials and production within the additive manufacturing /3D printing arena. The cover's black background raised squares stock pattern is a nod to the 3D printing idea. Playing off the pattern of those squares is a collage of images from the inside features. The images were selected carefully, and in some instances manipulated, to work together in a complementary purple and orange color scheme.
