Middle Market Growth magazine is part of a strategic communication initiative by the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) for its members and community. Middle Market Growth published bimonthly in 2018, after a transitional year that moved the magazine away from a digital-only delivery to a printed magazine. Yes, you read that right.

The magazine was originally developed and designed as a tablet magazine but after growing feedback from the membership and community, ACG re-launched the brand flagship as a more traditional print component that strongly compliments and roots their ongoing digital communications strategies.

Please describe the enterprising work that went into this entry and its significance or impact on readers:

The design and visual appeal of Middle Market Growth is anchored by the art direction of contemporary corporate portraiture that accompanies each Growth Story (our version of a cover story). From there, editors and designers collaborate to create pages that offer both visual appeal as well as punchy nuggets of information that add context and interest to each story. Pacing and navigating the pages are considered when placing long-form stories alongside one-page infographics and smaller quick takes -- all in the service of informing and entertaining our readership.
