InsuranceJournal.com is the highest-trafficked property/casualty insurance news website in the U.S. In 2023, our social media strategy significantly elevated our presence and influence, becoming a vital resource for professionals in the p/c insurance industry. With 1,217 posts, we achieved 5,760,554 impressions, an indication of our content's impact. Engagement levels were high with 32,957 likes, 7,347 shares, 1,418 comments, and 190,728 clicks directing traffic to our publication. Our content serves as a key informational resource, enabling industry professionals to stay informed, share insights within their networks, and add their own perspectives.
Our LinkedIn audience grew by 25,236 this year, reaching 126,968 followers as of 12/15/23, with the majority being professionals from the Insurance sector (51,934), followed by Financial Services, Management Consulting, IT & Services, and Banking. This targeted audience growth, coupled with our diverse job function followers, showcases our ability to connect with and influence key industry players.
In addition to our 2023 milestones, we've seen consistent growth trajectory of Insurance Journal's social media presence. From July 2021 to June 2023, we saw a 47% increase in LinkedIn followers, further affirming our brand's growing influence. Although none of our direct competitors audit their social followers, Insurance Journal has done so since BPA (now BPA/AAM) began offering social auditing. Our initiative to include our audited LinkedIn follower count not only underscores our credibility but also provides a verifiable measure of our position and impact within the industry.
Overall, our social media initiatives have not only boosted our publication's visibility but also reinforced our standing as a key informational resource for professionals across various sectors. Our strategic approach to content and audience engagement has solidified our role as a leading voice in the industry.
