The best way to show off the latest EV innovations in the commercial vehicle industry is a two-fisted content approach with a laptop in one hand a video camera in the other. That's how Fleet Equipment covered the fastest growing trade show in the commercial vehicle industry--the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo held in Long Beach, Calif., May 9-12, 2022.

The crown jewel of our coverage was a video walk-around of the show floor for the Amped EV podcast, a collaboration between Fleet Equipment, a long-standing trucking industry publication, and The Buzz EV News, Babcox Media's latest publication focused on the EV market. Host David Sickels held down the fort in the Amped EV studio in Akron, Ohio, and talked live with Co-Host Jason Morgan from the show floor in California. Director and Editor Ashley Mizer quarterbacked the production along with Producer Patrick Roberts, connecting remotely with Jason and allowing David to see a live video stream and have a conversation about the show's biggest announcements and trends.

Daily Live Blogs--updated in real time by Content Director Jason Morgan as education sessions and keynote speeches happened--were the foundation of FE's ACT Expo coverage. On top of that, Associate Editor Tess Lovrak covered every press conference to post more than 20 news stories during the event. Graphic Designer Tammy House played a crucial role in providing image production support throughout the show. A true team effort.
