California Constructor has a long history as the leading magazine reaching the construction industry throughout California. It forecasts and analyzes key trends in the industry, including advocacy, legal issues, workforce development and training, sustainable construction, and more. The magazine also spotlights many of California’s most significant construction projects.

The January-February 2022 issue featured a comprehensive redesign that introduced a new nameplate, a more open and sophisticated look, and new columns (Moving Mountains, Advocating for the Industry, and Building Your Network).

The new color palette was synched to the overall association branding template to provide an integrated presentation.

Highlighting industry projects and people was a priority in the new design. The new magazine now does that with more, larger photos in both these areas. These bring a much bolder and more readable look compared to the old design.
