This video was created to supplement and promote TechTarget’s machine learning pillar, a collection of articles and definitions that explore the basics of emerging or trending industry topics. Machine learning for enterprise use is accelerating, enabling businesses to perform tasks at a scale previously unachievable, generating efficiencies for companies and new business opportunities. But, for many organizations, machine learning model development is a new activity and can seem intimidating. This video gives a high-level explanation of steps to follow when creating a machine learning model so that businesses are aware of the investment, research, and planning necessary before diving into a project. The Video team worked closely with the Strategic Initiatives team to develop an angle that would appeal to IT and business leaders with an understanding of the value of technology in business operations. The video also takes into consideration how best to use the YouTube platform as a way to drive traffic back to TechTarget’s pillar articles on machine learning, which was achieved with scripted call outs and links within the video, as well as links in the YouTube description.
