This website shines a spotlight on innovative lawyers and legal professionals who are changing the practice of law. Founded in 2009, the Legal Rebels franchise honors and recognizes those outside-the-box thinkers who have come up with new and more efficient ways to deliver legal services to the public. In 2020, we took a novel approach, honoring teams of lawyers, legal professionals, technologists and others who have worked together to help bring about change within the legal industry. Examples include a team from California looking to implement significant regulatory changes within the legal industry they believe are necessary to increase access to justice and a team of legal hackers encouraging grass roots solutions to pressing legal problems. The website also includes links to the Legal Rebels podcast, where innovative lawyers and legal professionals are interviewed by members of the ABA Journal staff.
