Water Quality Products (WQP) coronavirus market impact coverage began as a simple need to help our audience, composed largely of residential/commercial water treatment specialists, find the tools they needed to continue business operation successfully during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many WQP readers are small business owners overwhelmed by new challenges the pandemic poses. What followed were two rounds of first-party audience research culminating in digital reports; numerous Q&A's with industry experts; three house-written print feature articles; an original video interview series highlighting innovative solutions (now standing at 36 episodes); social media coverage and more. The coverage aimed to seamlessly weave together all the multimedia platforms WQP uses to engage with its audience.
The first round of research culminating in the WQP Coronavirus Market Impact Report was launched just days after the coronavirus was declared a global pandemic, demonstrating the rapid response and tenacity to effectively serve the audience that the WQP team fosters. WQP launched the "Checking In" video series shortly after as a medium to keep the industry connected and share valuable lessons, including how to manage virtual sales, how industry manufacturers pivoted to create PPE and how to navigate remote learning.
The WQP team put countless hours above and beyond to create these exclusive resources quickly and effectively. This culminates into the most enterprising project the team has ever covered. The multimedia coverage reaches a variety of facets of the water industry and provides real, actionable tools to water treatment industry professionals from small to large businesses alike.
