Please describe the enterprising work that went into this entry and its significance or impact on readers:
This article proved particularly challenging as the writer had to locate multiple atypical sources and then convince them to contribute to a publication with which they were completely unfamiliar. Writers at this publication typically seek out exhibit- and event-marketing professionals and have an electronic rolodex replete with sources of this type. For this piece, however, the writer first identified museum-design experts and then convinced them to offer their expertise. The writer then challenged them to relate key museum-design principles and explain how they cross over to the exhibit-design world. For many sources, this crossover was previous unexplored; thus, the writer oftentimes had to connect the dots for sources. In the end, readers appreciated the fresh perspective the sources and the topic provided.
