restaurant development + design (rd+d) is the only user-driven resource for restaurant professionals charged with building new locations and remodeling existing units. It provides a platform that allows professionals from divergent backgrounds to come together to share best practices, perspectives, and experiences in the pursuit of developing solutions they can apply in the development and design of new and existing restaurants.

The bi-monthly magazine reaches 18,042 subscribers with a pass-along readership of 52,322. Our readership includes decision makers in more than 90% of the top 400 chain restaurants, as well as multi-unit independent restaurant operators, architecture and design firms, contractors/builders, and consultants.

The State of QSR’s is a restaurant development + design feature story about the evolution of quick service restaurant solutions. The illustration creatively shows common foods associated with quick service restaurants and ties into the rest of the spread’s design. Similarities between the typography and the style of the illustration effectively communicates common qualities of eating food while providing and entertain visual to accompany the text.
