This podcast by reporter Nicole Laskowski is part of a series Laskowski developed based on interviews with AI professors at Carnegie Mellon University. The series, dubbed "Schooled in AI," provides CIOs and business leaders with a window into cutting edge AI research. A signature departure from the standard IT Q & A, "Schooled in AI" employs a narrative method that makes these complex ideas come alive.
Professor Ken Koedinger's work, the subject of this episode, wasn't scheduled as part of the series original lineup. But after Laskowski heard a talk he gave at Harvard on his cognitive tutor software, she decided the research was worth pursuing. The resulting podcast features audio from that talk, courtesy of Harvard, in addition to the interview with Laskowski. The work Laskowski put into production included research, interviewing the subject, composing a script, voice work in the studio and editing.
