Civil Engineering’s 90,000 readers are civil engineers working for engineering firms or local, state, or federal governments or authorities. The mission of Civil Engineering is to provide a deeper understanding of the wide variety of issues, challenges, innovations, and achievements of the civil engineering profession and of its practitioners and leaders. The objectives of the magazine as a whole are to strengthen the readers’ understanding of civil engineering, to showcase civil engineering projects in ways that enhance the creators’ pride in the projects, and to make the magazine a pleasure to read.
