This issue explores the importance of modernizing the electrical grid especially when disaster strikes. It coincided with the highest incidence of hurricane destruction and addresses the problems associated with water-damaged electrical equipment. It included reports from field representatives, including relevant information about flooding in Louisiana, safeguarding medical imaging facilities, and tips for electrical safety. It announced a new white paper on microgrids andwas poly-bagged with a supplement on microgrids.
